I love pasta, especially this one I discovered years ago when my oldest was still a baby. This recipe is filling, can feed a crowd, low budget, and so incredibly easy to make. It also heats up well the next day for lunch! The combination of alfredo and marinara gives this recipe a yummy twist on the classic pasta dish. Serve it with fresh salad and five cheese garlic bread for an easy weeknight meal.
Two Timin’ Pasta
Ingredients:
1 Box of Penne Pasta Cooked & Drained
15oz Jar of Prego Alfredo
24oz Jar of Prego Marinara
2 Cups Shredded Italian Cheese Blend
1 Cup Shredded Parmesan Cheese
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Combine both jars of sauce in a large mixing bowl. Add in Italian cheese blend and stir. Add penne to mixture, toss to coat. Pour pasta into a 9×13 baking dish and cook for 20-25 minutes or until dish is bubbly. Remove from oven and sprinkle Parmesan on top, bake for an additional five minutes. Serve with fresh salad and garlic bread.
